NE pneumatic friction – clutch

The EIDE NE pneumatic clutch is a compact unit that engages with air pressure and is deactivated by a spring reaction. The air inlet is radial and operates at a nominal pressure of 5.5 bar. Air consumption is minimal.

Furthermore, by properly regulating the air pressure, it is possible to control the acceleration time of the machine or the transmitted torque, providing security for the rest of the mechanisms.

This clutch can be used for tension control in winding applications and is a good alternative to electromagnetic powder clutches.
