The Linear Solenoid is an electromechanical device that generates a uniform magnetic field when an electric current is applied to it.
These units are made up of a coil of wire wrapped around a moving metal core.
Linear solenoids are typically classified into two parts:
– Pull (the electromagnetic path pulls a plunger toward the solenoid body)
– Pushing in which the plunger / shaft is pushed out of the case.
