FAE electromagnetic brake

The FAE electromagnetic brake is comprised of a magnet body and coil, plus friction material and the armature block made up of the armature disc and a membrane spring and a support bushing. Voltage (normalised at 24 V.c.c.) applied to the coil creates a magnetic field that attracts the armature disc and deforms the membrane spring, which compensates air gap “a” indicated in the table, which must be respected on assembly.
