An SER electromagnetic clutch is a clutch formed by an inductor coil and core with a self-centering bearing rotor that incorporates friction material.
Applying a voltage of 24 V.c.c, it generates a magnetic field that attracts an armature against the rotor disc. At this point, a deformation of the spring membrane and clutch action occur.
At the time the electromagnetic clutch is tension free, it retakes the original position.
