Both the clutch and the brake operate when connected to the power.

The unit itself has a very small residual momentum and a low inertia momentum, the 24 V.c.c current has been connected directly via a terminal housing to the P-44 in all its versions.

The NEF pneumatic clutch-brake is a compact unit of a pneumatic clutch and an opposing brake with spring reaction. The actuator is powered radially with compressed air at a nominal pressure of 5.5 bar. Air consumption is minimal and the chamber has a polished chrome sleeve, providing optimal performance.

By adequately regulating the air pressure, it is possible to obtain control over the machine’s acceleration time and also transmission torque control providing safety for the rest of mechanisms.
