NIL-UNION flexible couplings are mechanical elements used to join 2 shafts with or without limiter; they act as mechanical fuses, electrically insulating the machine and requiring no maintenance. They are formed by 2 metal pinions and a nylon sleeve or by a metal pinion, a nylon sleeve and a torque limiter. |

Coupling Model 1 Model 1 is ideal for the inlets and outlets of reducers, for heavy work machinery or devices and for machines that frequently stop and start while fully loaded. It is formed by metal pinions and nylon sleeves. Thanks to the type of nylon used in manufacturing these sleeves, there is no wear on their contact surface, and their vibration absorption and mechanical resistance are both excellent.

Models O/L Models O and L can be told apart by the length of their sleeve. Model L has a longer sleeve, and is especially indicated for use between any driven machine and an electric motor. Easy to disassemble via extractor

Models S and LS can be told apart by the length of their sleeve. Model LS has a longer sleeve than model S. The coupling pinion can be mounted on top of the shaft

Coupling and torque limiter group. LPC torque limiters are mechanisms designed to absorb excess loads in any machine. There are therefore mechanical “fuses”. When the controlled torque is exceeded, a sliding motion takes place between the coupling pinion and the friction discs. Its structure with helical springs gives it great regulation sensitivity and allows it to absorb wear without any discernible modification in the controlled torque.
